Janus Henderson Investors is today announcing a new addition to its distribution team in Italy. Matteo Ercole, who assumed the role of Institutional Sales Director on the 4th September 2023, will be based in Milan and report to Federico Pons, Country Head of Italy.
In this new role, Matteo will be responsible for expanding the institutional business in Italy with a focus on strengthening existing client relationships and creating new partnership opportunities, further enhancing Janus Henderson’s offerings for Institutional clients.
Matteo brings a wealth of experience to the role having joined from NN Investments Partners where he was the Director of Italian Institutional Clients. Prior to that, Matteo was at HSBC Global Asset Management where he held various roles, most recently Head of Institutional Sales for Italy. Matteo has a degree in Social and Economic Sciences from Bocconi University and is fluent in Italian, English and French.
