INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE
A moderately positioned U.S. small-cap growth fund seeking to provide consistent relative returns with lower volatility than the index. Invests in small-cap companies in the U.S. with differentiated business models and sustainable competitive advantages that we believe are positioned to grow market share regardless of economic conditions.
The Fund’s investment objective is to seek capital appreciation by investing at least half of its equity assets in equity securities of small sized US companies. Small sized US companies are those whose market capitalisations, at the time of initial purchase, falls within the range of companies in the Russell 2000® Growth Index. Companies whose capitalisations grow and thereby fall outside of these ranges after the Fund’s initial purchase will still be considered small-sized. The Fund may also invest in larger companies with strong growth potential or larger, well-known companies with potential for capital appreciation. The Fund may invest up to 25% of its net asset value in the securities of non-US issuers traded on regulated markets that are not considered developing markets. No more than 10% of the net asset value of the Fund may be invested in securities traded on any one developing market and the aggregate amount of the Fund which may be invested in securities traded on the developing markets is 20% of the net asset value of the Fund.
The Fund’s investment objective is to seek capital appreciation.
The Fund pursues its objective by investing at least 80% of its net asset value in equities of US companies and at least 50% of its net asset value is of small US companies. Small US companies are those whose market capitalisations, at the time of initial purchase, falls within the range of companies in the Russell 2000® Growth Index. Companies whose capitalisations grow and thereby fall outside of these ranges after the Fund’s initial purchase will still be considered small-sized.
The Fund may also invest in larger companies with strong growth potential or larger, well-known companies with potential for capital appreciation and without constraint across industries and sectors.
The aggregate amount of the Fund which may be invested in securities traded on the developing markets is 10% of the net asset value of the Fund.
