Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is a Research Analyst on the Secured Credit Team focused on the ABS sector at Janus Henderson Investors. Prior to starting this role in 2022, he was a client portfolio manager for fixed income strategies at the firm from 2019. Before that, he was an associate client portfolio manager from 2011. Steve joined Henderson in 2007 as a performance analyst before becoming a senior portfolio analyst in 2009. Prior to Henderson, he was a fixed income product specialist at Fidelity Global Investors. Earlier, he worked for ABN Amro and BNP.

Steve graduated with a BSc degree (Hons) in geography from Leeds University. He received the Securities Institute Diploma for Fixed Income and Bonds, the Investment Management Certificate, and the IAQ Portfolio Performance Management module. He has 25 years of financial industry experience.
