Russ Shipman is Global Head of Strategic Account Program and Head of U.S. Direct Business at Janus Henderson Investors. He also sits on the Janus Henderson Investors Strategic Leadership Team. Prior to moving to the institutional group in 1993, Russ was vice president of operations with oversight of all retail and institutional transfer agency customer service functions at the firm. His background includes experience in equity trading, securities underwriting, and retail sales at a regional broker/dealer. Russ joined Janus in 1990.

Russ received a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 securities licenses and has 36 years of financial industry experience.
