Jack Yuan, PhD – REMOVED

Jack Yuan is Deputy Head of Investment Risk at Janus Henderson Investors. In this role, he assists the global head of investment risk in leading and advising the investment risk teams. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, he was head of market risk at Capula Investment Management from 2019 until 2020 and director of risk management at Dymon Asia Capital in 2020 as well. From 2015, he spent four years as managing director and head of global macro risk with Balyasny Asset Management and from 2009, he was vice president, market risk manager with Nomura. He was an associate market risk manager with Morgan Stanley from 2008. Jack began his career in exotic rates quant, trading and structuring with WestLB AG Global Market in 2006.

Jack received dual degrees, a BSc (Hons) in technological economics and a BEng (Hons) in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in China. He holds an MSc in economics and finance and a doctorate in finance, both from the University of Bristol in the UK. He has 18 years of financial industry experience.
