Susan Fanning, CFA

Susan Fanning is a Research Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors, covering the financials sector, a position she has held since joining the firm in 2013. Prior to this, Susan was a portfolio manager and equity analyst with Adage Capital Management, a long/short hedge fund focused on US equities. Before coming to Adage in 2007, she worked for three years as an equity research associate with Fidelity Management and Research Company. Susan also completed internships with Wellington Management Company and Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) Investment Banking.

Susan earned her bachelor of business administration degree in finance and psychology from the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated summa cum laude and won the Hamilton Award for Finance. She received her MBA with concentrations in analytic finance, accounting and strategic management from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, graduating with high honours. Susan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 24 years of financial industry experience.
