Alex Roitz, CFA

Alex Roitz is a Client Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors responsible for fixed income. Before assuming this role in 2021, he was a director, product specialist at the firm from 2016. Alex joined Janus in 2011 and served four years as vice president, client relations. Prior to Janus, he managed and directed the investment consulting unit of a regional defined contribution consulting group, where he oversaw their manager-analysis and due-diligence processes and was responsible for consulting with clients regarding fund performance and array construction. While working as a senior analyst for Advised Assets Group (a subsidiary of Great-West Life, now Empower Retirement), he was responsible for providing plan-level investment consulting.

Alex received a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics with an emphasis in applied statistics from the University of Northern Colorado. Additionally, he earned a master’s degree in security analysis and portfolio management from Creighton University, Heider College of Business. Alex holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 25 years of financial industry experience.
