Sam Beres, CFA

Sam Beres is a Research Analyst at Geneva Capital Management. In this role, he performs fundamental research to support all the Geneva growth equity strategies. Prior to joining Geneva in 2017, Sam was a sell-side equity research associate with Robert W. Baird & Co. from 2013. He was promoted to research associate in 2015 after beginning as a research analyst.

Sam earned his bachelor of business administration degree with a major in finance from the University of Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude. He also was part of the Applied Investment Management (AIM) programme, which includes a team of students selected to manage stocks for a university-sponsored portfolio. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has FINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 securities licenses. He has 11 years of financial industry experience.
