Jennifer James

Jennifer James is a Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors responsible for co-managing the Emerging Markets Corporate strategy since 2019. Prior to joining Henderson in 2014 as lead emerging markets analyst, Jennifer was a co-fund manager and research analyst on the global credit team at Thames River Capital. Since moving to London in 2005, she has had investment roles covering corporate credit at several hedge funds, including Amaranth, Peloton, and Gruss. Her first buy-side position was at Bear Stearns Asset Management on their high-yield team. She started her career in the analyst program at JP Morgan and then moved to high-yield research as a junior research analyst for the investment bank.

Jennifer received a BSc degree in management (accounting) with concentrations in finance and English literature from Boston College. She holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and has 26 years of financial industry experience.
