Hideki Marui

Hideki Marui is Head of Japan at Janus Henderson Investors and President and Representative Director of Janus Henderson Investors (Japan) Limited, a position he has held since 2017. Prior to this, Hideki had overseen Japan distribution efforts, including intermediary sales and institutional sales, since joining Janus in 2003. From  2001 to 2003, he served at Fuji Investment Management Company (currently Asset Management One) in Tokyo and before that at Fuji Lord Abbett in London. Earlier, he was a fund analyst at the Asset Management Department of Fuji Bank (currently Mizuho Bank) in New York and a market economist at Fuji Securities (now Mizuho Securities) in Tokyo. He started his career in 1991 at Fuji Bank.

Hideki received a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Kobe University and an MBA in finance from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan (CMA) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). He has 33 years of financial industry experience.
