Chris Herringshaw
Chris Herringshaw is Chief Technology Officer at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2021. He is responsible for all aspects of the technology program and is a member of the Janus Henderson Executive Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2019 as global head of infrastructure, Chris spent more than fifteen years at Citadel Investment Group, most recently as managing director of global infrastructure technology. Before that, he founded Quova (now Neustar IP Intelligence) and served as vice president of engineering while creating their patented geolocation technology, and then as chief technology officer. Earlier in his career, he held technology leadership roles with several firms including Softbank Venture Capital.
Chris holds a BS degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Michigan. He serves on the Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Michigan College of Engineering and is a member of the Institutional Investor Financial Technology Forum. He has 30 years of information technology experience and more than 18 of that in the financial industry.
