Scott Steele

Scott Steele is Head of Distribution, Asia at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since joining the firm in 2018. In this role, he heads the retail and institutional business across Asia ex Japan. Prior to this, Scott was executive vice president, head of Hong Kong and Singapore global wealth management at PIMCO from 2017. He also led the Asia ex Japan institutional business from 2014 to 2017. Before that, Scott served in various distribution leadership positions at PIMCO from 2008. Earlier, he was CIO of BMO mutual funds and vice president, mutual fund research at BMO Nesbitt Burns, from 2001 and 2000, respectively. Scott was a senior fund analyst with Fidelity Management & Research from 1999 and vice president of marketing with Guardian Mutual Funds from 1998. He began his career in 1989 with RBC Dominion Securities, where he progressed to vice president in 1996.

Scott has a bachelor of commerce degree in finance from the University of Toronto. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 30 years of financial industry experience.
