Chris Benway, CFA
Chris Benway is Director of Research at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2024, and was previously associate director of research from 2023. He oversees the firm’s central equity research teams and analysts. Additionally, he is a Research Analyst on the Industrials & Materials Sector Research Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Chris was a research analyst at Kayne Anderson Rudnick from 2014. Before that, he was a research associate with Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management from 2012 and an equity analyst with Palisades Investment Partners from 2010. Chris began his career with Liberty Mutual Group as a senior underwriter.
Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado – Boulder, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the University of California – Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 14 years of financial industry experience.
