Catherine Boyd

Global Head of ESG Strategy & Operations

Catherine Boyd is Global Head of ESG Strategy & Operations at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2023. In this role, she works in partnership with the Chief Responsibility Officer to determine the Responsibility Team’s strategy. She also oversees the firm’s approach to ESG data and analytics, content and learning – including internal and external training and thought leadership – and regulatory preparedness. Prior to joining the firm, Catherine held several roles at AllianceBernstein from 2017, including vice president, responsible investing communications and reporting manager from 2020 and most recently as vice president, responsible investment strategist from 2022. Before that, she was COO, director of finance at startup Quantac, Inc. from 2017. She began her career in institutional equity research sales at Nomura Instinet in 2014.

Catherine received a bachelor of arts degree in economics with a minor in Russian, graduating as salutatorian, summa cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa from Union College and an MBA from the University of California – Berkeley, Haas School of Business, graduating with honors. She has 10 years of financial industry experience.
