Lucas Klein
Lucas Klein is Head of EMEA and Asia Pacific Equities at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2023. He is responsible for leading equity portfolio management and research teams in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. He is also a member of the Janus Henderson Executive Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Lucas held several roles at Fidelity International from 2018, most recently as global head of equity research, where he was responsible for the global equity research team as well as the US, sector, and thematic equity portfolio management teams. Before this, he was an analyst and portfolio manager with Putnam Investments from 2009 and a senior equity analyst with Riversource (now Columbia Threadneedle) from 2007. Lucas was an associate and later an analyst with Morgan Stanley from 2004. He began his career with Deloitte in 1997 as a business analyst, progressing to senior consultant after taking time to earn a graduate degree.
Lucas received a bachelor of science degree in social policy from Northwestern University, graduating magna cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has 20 years of financial industry experience.
