Ruchi Biyani
Ruchi Biyani is Corporate Governance Lead at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2024. She is a member of the Responsibility Team’s Responsible Investment and Governance division and leads the team on heading investment team support, corporate governance, development of corporate governance data capabilities, and enhancement of proxy voting processes and policy. Additionally, she is a member of the Janus Henderson Proxy Voting Committee. Ruchi joined the firm as a responsible investment and governance analyst in 2022. Prior to that, she worked at Nishith Desai Associates (from 2008) most recently as head of European practice from 2013. Ruchi began her career in 2006 at HDFC Ltd as a management trainee in the secretarial and investor relations department.
Ruchi received a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, a bachelor of law degree from Government Law College, and a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School. She is a qualified company secretary and holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. She has 15 years of corporate governance experience.
