Amer Hasan, CFA

Amer Hasan is an Equity Investment Specialist at Janus Henderson Investors. In this role, he is responsible for articulating Janus Henderson’s view on equity markets, the macroeconomic environment, and how the firm’s suite of equity products are positioned within the investment marketplace. As an asset class specialist, Amer engages with clients to drive asset growth and contributes to strategic planning for the Janus Henderson equity platform. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Amer was a senior portfolio associate at ClearBridge Investments where he was responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of separately managed accounts invested in various equity strategies. Before that, he held additional roles at Citigroup and JPMorgan Asset Management.

Amer received a bachelor of science degree in economics and business management from Stony Brook University. He received an MPA with a concentration in international economic policy and management from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 15 years of financial industry experience.
