Janus Henderson Investors is today announcing the appointment of Gaetan D’Hondt who joins as Sales Director, BeNeLux. Gaetan who assumed the role on 19 August 2024, will be based in Luxembourg and report to Sander Van der Ent, Head of BeNeLux & Nordics Client Group.
In his new role, Gaetan will be responsible for cultivating Janus Henderson’s relationships with intermediary and wholesale clients in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Gaetan joins Janus Henderson from Natixis Investment Managers, where he was Managing Director for the Natixis Investment Managers Belgian Branch as well as Sales Manager responsible for business development in Luxembourg and Belgium. Prior to that, Gaetan was at Degroof Petercam Asset Management for over 3 years, as Sales & Relationship Manager for Institutional Clients. Gaetan also brings investment management experience, having started his career at KBC Asset Management as Senior Application Manager, and later taking on the role of Portfolio Manager. Gaetan also currently holds a role as Independent Advisor to the Finance and Investment Committee at Abdij der Norbertijden Averbode.
Gaetan is fluent in Dutch, English and French and holds a Bachelors degree and Masters in Applied Economics from Ghent University.
